WE need ENTHUSIASTIC VOLUNTEERS TO work in our circles of support and accountability
Society cannot afford any more victims of sexual harm.
what is a circle?
become a volunteer
Circles of Support and Accountability are primarily there to reduce sexual abuse - 'No more victims' as our motto says. It is only possible to reduce sexual abuse if we offer support to those who have abused.
We currently have far more sex offenders in prison than ever before. The vast majority leave prison after many years and return to communities where they are often one of the most despised groups in society. The stigma attached to their sexual offences makes it difficult for them to do the most basic forms of community reintegration like finding a home, a job and friendship and support. This is where Circles of Support and Accountability comes in. Circles are delivered throughout the UK and Wales and we need enthusiastic adult volunteers of all ages and backgrounds in all our Provider areas.
We are currently particularly short of male and older volunteers to join our motivated, assessed people who are waiting to start a Circle. We also have Circles for people with Intellectual Disability/Autism Spectrum Conditions and Young People that we need volunteers for.
